Question getPlayItemMetaDataString names

Unfortunately, the metadata names for this function are not detailed in the std.mi file. Any body out there have this list?

TNX!

Exclamation My research shows... (BUG ALERT???)

OK Slackers...

Here is what I have for the getPlayItemMetaDataString() function in MAKI with possible bugs(**)...

"Artist" Artist
"Album" Album
"Title" Title
"Genre" Genre
"Year" Year
"Comment" Comment
"Length" Track Length (!Return a true integer)
"Size" Size (**Returns nothing? !Should return a true integer)
"Track" Track (**Returns nothing? Maybe with CDs is ok?)
"Bitrate" Bitrate
"Srate" Sample Rate (**Definite bug!!! returns the sample rate WITH part of the title!!! Example: "4410 Shore Drive")
"Nch" Number of Channels (** returns nothing???)
"Bps" Bits per Sample (** returns nothing???)
"Modified" Modified Time Stamp (** returns nothing???)

I got this from the Wasabi SDK file metatags.h

Not sure what this looks like on a webcast stream... Will find out tonight. Looks like most of this info comes from the file's ID3 tag and MP3 header.

Now you slackers at Nullsoft can update your docs and fix your bugs!

Would it be possible to get the maximum number of tracks of an album?

I mean the ID3 v2-tag allows me to save track information in a way like "05/10", but by using getPlayitemMetaDataString("track"); I'll get "5" instead of "05/10" or at least "5/10" should be shown..

Thanks in advance,

Martin..

not sure if this is possible. you can however get the total number of songs in the playlist if that helps.

Well, that's not really what I want to show.. Though, it's still a nice idea.. - It was getListLength, or am I wrong?

Additionally, maybe one of the winamp developers reads this thread and is willing to implement something like getPlayitemMetaDataString("albumtracks")?

getPlaylistLength() for length, getPlaylistIndex() for index of the current song should work
