Editing ID3 or M4A tags wipes Total Tracks and Total Discs entries

Take any m4a or mp3 file and edit using either the media library's edit item or the view file info dialog box. Upon saving the new tag, total disc and track details are gone.

Using Winamp 5.33, Windows XP SP2

P.S. Also, do you think the Total Disc and Total Track entries could be represented as seperated from Track or Disc No. as this would allow for mass-tagging of total tracks/discs using the media library?

This was fixed in 5.33.

Are you sure you're using 5.33? Because we can't repoduce the problem.

Are you definitely using Nullsoft in_mp3 and in_mp4 and not some 3rd-party plugins?

How are you entering the metadata?

It should in the format of:

For Tracks (eg. Track 1 of 10) = 1/10

For Disc # (eg. Disc 2 of 2) = 2/2

I'm definately sure it happened this version. I remember it happening when I mass-tagged some files using the media library edit item option. I didn't actually touch the track or disc info, just changed the title or artist, and when it refreshed, the totals were gone.

I could be a tempremental thing, because as far as I've seen since, it hasn't happened again.
