You people make me sick.
Maddox rocks, and it's just his own opinion. Whether or not you read it is up to you, he never took a gun and forced you to read, let alone accept it.

Fucking hell. Just because someone thinks a little differently, people become uptight assholes.

Holy shit. Beth Robbins "notified the FBI".
(Whether or not this is her, I don't know, but it still is funny)
Quote:
Stop Harrassing Me OR ELSE!!! I've notified the FBI about this, it would be your best interest, as well as MADDOX, to stop the harassment. THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING!!!

FINE...I GAVE YOU MY WARNING...I REPORTED TO THE FBI, THEY ARE INVESTIGATING EVRYONE WHO SIGNED THS PETITION, AND MADDOX IS GOING TO BE PERSECUTED FOR LIFE...WHO IS THE PERSON WITH SAND IN THE VAGINA NOW?

That's a load of bullshit, no crime has been committed, so no FBI is going to investigate.

Freedom of speach goes something like this: "I might not agree with what you are saying, but I will defend your right to say it."

It also occurred to me that this Maddox might have invented these mothersagainstmaddox himself, it's called publicity.....

I wouldn't put it past him to make this himself, but he already has enough publicity as it is.

My initial thoughts on it were (and my current ones are) that he made it himself. Not sure, in any way, though.

Alex Jones: Do you want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? What a bunch of garbage; liberal democrat, conservative, republican. It's all there to control you! Two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control, the CEO job of Slavery, Incorporated! The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. What's the deal on this Maddox-gig? I've seen more shocking stuff readily available and they're catching no flak.

I love his opinions and weird, psychotic views. Who cares? Even if someone is against him, you should just stop going to his site. People have even stopped putting his site on the search engines like Google and AltaVista because people bitch all the time. I think it's hilarious, everyone keeps crying over his site and what he says.

That's why we live in the United States, freedom of speech.

If you look at the last box, you can see that he doesn't tak himself seriously, and that the people trying to ban him have no sense of humour (and sand in their vaginas), and the people who endorse this fall under the same category.

Maddox should join these forums.

It's odd though. We have this freedom-of-speech gimmick too, but you never hear anyone here about something like that.

No, I should work on my writing.
Just read it exactly as it shows, no innuendos or sublimal messaging or reading between the lines.
We have freedom of speech.
I hardly ever hear anyone here about websites like Maddox's.

Well, in America everyone is so stupid about everything. Downloading songs is illegal, sites like Maddox are illegal. I mean, what the hell else is next? The internet should be illegal then, there's so many things you can do wrong here but it's not.

Yeah, didn't mean to actually say Maddox's site was illegal. Heh. I tried to say that people make it seem unwanted and illegal because of his opinionated views. But definitely not illegal in any 50 states.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that downloading copyrighted material without paying for it should be illegal. Doesn't take away that I do it myself, I'm that much of a hypocrit.
But if I had to live from the money I'd make with music, I'd get nervous seeing the majority of people downloading it from the one guy that bought it.

Ofcourse, we should all line up to download Metallica's next album...

I'm not starting up another one of "those" discussions, I'm confining this to one sentence:

The RIAA is in it for themselves as an access monopoly; while admittedly we are downloading for free, at least we're not spending the very money we leverage away from the artists to further entrench ourselves legally and for all time, sucking the life and creativity out of the music industry.

Honestly, I don't have $20 a week to go out and buy a CD just to listen to a few songs I might like. So, maybe it's illegal but I'm not doing anything wrong with the music, ie; selling, or extorting artists etc. So I don't think this is as illegal as the RIAA and everyone in the media tries to portray it. If I had money, I'd be loading up on the CDs, unfortunately I don't.

Forgive, it wasn't my intention to start a discussion like this either. So as I'm the one that started it, let me be the one to end it with saying:
I was speaking as a musician there. A very hypocrit one. I can see both the pros and cons to music sharing.
That's it and that's that, I don't wanna get sucked into this discussion again either, so the jury will disregard my remarks!
