How to stream from a different connection than my server's one

Hello dears,
I have been happily able to put online my SHOUTcast server for a week now however it seems I can't manage to stream from internet connections which are different than the one where my server is connected to.

I have been using BUTT (on both Mac and Windows) throughout my tests and by inserting the address of my server (the same one which let me visualise the DNAS if typed in the url bar) it still doesn't connect; for those who are familiar with Butt I get stuck at the 'connecting..' message printed out in the main interface of the software once I click on 'play'.

Anybody has a clue ?

Thanks for the attention and long life to the SHOUTcast' crew.
