Do you mean your avatar?

Go to My Control Panel, Edit Options, and scroll down to the bottom.

New members don't get them until they've been here longer.

Aw, man. This has got to be the biggest run of spam we've had! We've got spears outdoors, alba doing anal, catherine zeta working her throat, rici disrobing...

Sheesh, are they going to spam every thread in every subforum?

Just don't reply to them as it only makes your reply look out of place when they are deleted

Yea really. WTF are you talking about anyway? I don't see any spam in this thread

Oh, and just a word of advice:
There's no need to e-mail us everytime a piece of spam shows up and there's DEFINITELY no reason to PM on top of it.

Dude, there were at least seven instances of spam from two usernames in a ten-minute-or-so period, in several subforums. I was worried that they would run the board over and make your jobs harder. Mr Jones already deleted their accounts (I assume.) Also, I didn't email anyone, unless that's what the "report this post" link does. But if you just want me to ignore the spam, just say so.

Spammers are cool, the current records still stands at 19 posts I think before anyone nabbed them, it's like hunting packs of wild beasties , only with less bloodshed.

I don't mind the notifications, just one thing though, between midnight and 7am GMT you'll never catch me on PM often, too busy sleeping

I know it's hard to fathom but as awesome as mods are, we do need to get sleep sometimes. More often than not, I wake up in the morning to find multiple e-mails in my box about spam posts (A full handful of hours later).
More importantly, why does everyone assume that they have special spam-O-vision that allows them to see spam that mods can't?
Ignoring spam is the best thing you can do
