Chevy vs. Ford? Fuck that shit! It's time for a new battle: Coke vs. Pepsi, and while we're at it, why not Coke PRODUCTS vs. Pepsi products?
Lessee... Pepsi has Pepsi (duh), Mountain Dew (mmmm...), Slice, Mug, and I know I'm forgetting stuff but what the hell
Coke has Coke, Barq's (yummy!), and... some other shit.

Answers in this format:

Coke vs. Pepsi: Pepsi
Coke Products vs. Pepsi Products: Pepsi

Why this isn't in the gen forums, I do not know, but just to humor you; Cola? Bah! Nestea all the way baby! Closely followed by Brisk. And for that sole fact, I prefer Pepsi ([drool]Lipton products... Ummmm...[/drool]). Not to mention it's superior taste. And nongritty texture (due to EXCESS SUGAR!!!). And non muddy color.

Coke's got nothing going for it except a deceiving name.

My traditional American upbringing - coke was all we ever had in the house, so i have a taste for it and really prefer it.

But you forget pepsi products INCLUDE
Pepsico franchises:
taco hell, KFC, (love those wraps!)
pizza hut... SO i do like other pepsi
products better =)

Well lets see. Coke has Sprite, something I can never grow tierd of, but Pepsi has got Mug, which is much easier to chug (more sugar in the mix) than the compeating Barqs. On the other hand, Coke has commercials far superior to any Pepsi stuff I've seen. However, with the sugar, Pepsi drinks are much easier to down after eating pizza. Hmm, oh well, I guess it still depends on preference.

I used to do PLC work for various breweries and cola manufacturers around the states, and I can tell you that you'd NEVER drink a coke product again if you'd seen what I've seen. Before I stopped drinking pop all together, I would have said, GO PEPSI!

Hey, Chevy vs. Ford is in this forum and nobody fucking complains about it, do they? There, now we've got a bitch in this post.

Here's my feeling:

Yes, I did fail to mention all the franchises, and I certainly couldn't live w/o mexican pizzas and KFC.

Barq's is my favorite root beer. Too bad it's owned by coke. I can't stand mug. To each his own.

Coke down here is better than pepsi - wanna know why? they use the ORIGINAL formula, you know, the kind w/ SUGAR. 'course in the US all we get is sucrose or some shit. Pepsi's too sweet down here, but in the US it's just right.

Kambestad - you watch too much TV

MMM... Oreos....

We have it too...it's just a matter of finding the small corner stores that sell it...they're usually the ones that still sell loose cigarettes for like 10 or 20 cents lol

I do not. For your information I didn't even grow up with a TV. The only time I ever watch now is when the crocodile hunter.

The reason I mentioned the Coke commercials is because of their pre-movie slides. Those are funny. Sprite got's those kicking TV commercials tho'.

Seriously, what does Pepsi have to offer???

Am I the only one here that still prefers milk and iced tea? Geez! Oops, that's Jeez with a 'j'.

If I had to choose, I'd take Coke or any Coke product over anything Pepsi. Barq's is the best cola ever. And I mean EVER.

It's coke beyotch! Fun Fact: Pepsi is crap.(IMO)
If you're talking Products, Coke rules for it's many products, Minute Made, Fruitopia Mr. Pibb etc.. Pepsi had Mug (mmm) and .. 7 Up has a witty slogan.. But then, pepsi provides beverages to Disneyland and McDonals.. Pepsi .. Movie Theaters.. Who The F*dge has ever heard of a 'Rum and Pepsi' ?.. I could go on like this for a while..

I believe that 7-Up is made by Dr. Pepper, not Pepsi. I've seen Dr. Pepper and 7-Up in places that have Coke and other places with Pepsi.

Coke owns Tab, thus Pepsi would be the only choice. But, caffeine is bad for you, so drink alcoholic beverages.

I'll drink to that!

You know, coke is a helluva lot better in other countries. Here, coke has sugar, and they have stuff called coke "light" (not diet) that actually tastes like regular coke w/o that nutrasweet aftertaste shit.

Hell yeah! Fanta is absoultely amazing. But that depends in which country you get it from. Even the city. Coke tastes amazing in London, but is not so great in Manchester. I think Muscat Fanta is better than Amsterdam Fanta.

Coke owns Minute Maid, which makes pulp-free orange juice and a pulp-free orange-tropical fruit blend juice, ergo Coke is better.
As for caffeinated and alcoholic beverages:

Well, if it had a nose, it would be coming from there. That's what happened to me when I threw up a couple months ago. Hadn't thrown up since before my first memories of life, and then suddenly, bam, while I was in a bicycle store. No idea what caused it. Extremely unpleasant. As if I didn't already have enough reason to stay away from alcohol.
