AIM Fight - Survival of the chattiest

Here's the way this will work. I was *going* to just post a link to a neat site but I figured I would turn it into a creative thread. Move it to the recycle bin if it belongs there.

www.aimfight.com

You challenge the person's AIM name from above you, post whether you won or lost, then the next poster challenges the winner of the last fight.

Neat idea but it will probably fail

I want a nice clean fight.

AIM name: protegechris

yeah, i'm back.

I'll take last place right off the bat because it's hard enough for me to willingly engage in conversation with you people here let alone in IMs.

I'm sure I would do very badly in this. My AIM id is in my profile though if anyone cares.

If you have enough people, top 5% of aim people, you get ranked.

Look at the fight between Jesus and God.

I wonder who is ranked #1?

I don't see this aimfight thing as reliable, as who has 25k people that have one person on their list?

It also says it doesn't include bots, if you look up smarterchild (like #1 bot), it shows his score as "5"

Also, when I did the metsfan match, it showed me the smaller number, and I doubt anyone gets 5000 new buddies in a few hours..

My number has dropped to around 4,000, like 3k less than yesterday. My friend's number has dropped from 14k to 10k.

I don't see any accuracy with this.

yeah, i'm back.

This just goes to prove that people who use AIM are popularity whores. =P

I think it only works by your buddies that are online or people who are online in the whole chain. That would explain some of the fluctuation.

In the About AimFight or FAQ or whatever it was, it was made quite clear that the number is NOT the number of people that have you on their buddy list.

Correct however that will affect your total number, which is why it still seems so unaccurate

AIM Fight is alright, I made a plugin recently to add a twist to what aim has out called Fight Bot. It's a more interactive version of aim fight. I released my plugin to more people recently so you may try it out if you like. AIM6 and up needed..

Download FightBot Beta

p.s, sorry for over stretched image ...
