Someone Please Help

I am trying to download skins to my winamp and nothing i try is working i get a zipper on the folder instead of it just going through what can i do. when i try to extract nothing happens.

wsz and wal files are zip files with skin data. so if you have archiving program like powerarchiver, and it has those file extensions associated with that. it'll try to unzip the files instead of loading them into winamp.

if you save the files to the /skins folder you should then be able to manually change the skin using the skins menu.

usually they get saved to c:\program files\winamp\skins

Do you have Win XP with SP2 and/or Microsoft Internet Explorer SP2?
If that is the case, Internet Explorer has a tendency to download skin files as ZIP instead of WAL or WSZ. In such a event, the skin file will go to the (un)archiver instead of Winamp.
