Burning with Naming Convention?

I am kind of new to WinAmp, but I have WinAmp Pro. I use to use Windows Media player to burn CD's and it added naming conventions when I burned CD. I can't seem to find where to set the naming conventions in WinAmp. When I burn a CD, although it burns the tunes to the CD, it doesn't give them proper file names. All the tunes I burn to a CD with WinAmp are listed as Track1, Track2, Track3, and so on. After burning and looking at the CD in WinAmp tunes are listed as Unknown Artist - Track1, Unknown Artist - Track2, and so on. How do I get WinAmp to burn my selected tunes to a CD with naming conventions. Example: <Artist> - <Album>\## - <Artist> - <Title>
Thanks
JT

You are burning audio CDs, there are no names as it is just plain CD Audio at that point.. Winamp does not support burning CD Text

I made the same mistake - I upgraded to Winamp Pro to use the (so called) superior burning facility, only to find it didn't support CD-Text. So now I have to use Winamp & Nero again.
Now I'm considering using Nero for all my media needs, just because of this small oversight.

Anyone know if CD-Text is in the pipeline?

From the Workarounds in the Wishlist...

Input Plugins

in_cdda
CD-Text support
This one's been in the Wishlist since the dawn of time (search)
For now, you can try the CD-Text Plugin | more info
CD Text reading support implemented in Winamp 5.31

Although, I do not think 'burning' is supported in the above workaround. Probably just 'reads' CD text.

I have no signature.
