Well, that's nice. And 24/96 on Audigy was marketing, and it was related to digital output.
Heheh, 24/192 really is overkill. Unless you're a bat.

Audigy 2 does in fact have true 24/96 output on all six channels, and I have to admit their drivers are (slowly) improving. Still not convinced I'd buy one though.

Audigy2 has internal DSP processing done at 16/48. FIXED.
I am not sure about TerraTec's internal DSP processing, but...

...and I've learned to not trust marketing specs (Audigy) except from nvidia, since they have been telling the truth since the TNT 1 gfx card..

i glad someone brought it up, whatsup with that nullsoft, couldn't you guys just get along, PP is the playback king, we're gonna miss all his plugin updates, you've lost one of the best plugin coders you've ever had.

nevermind...

i just hope you guys start putting playback top of your list, things like the crossfading which has never worked right if it wasn't for PP's Dsound plugin, leave the medialibrary and all the leet ui stuff 'till later its goodenough as it is, get the playback right, after all wa3 is primarily a media player

-J

ps. rant over , i'll just miss PP that all

yea I got that he was already gone, but I was just hoping it wouldn't be forever, but since reading the topic about it, I guess he won't ever come back...

DAMN SHAME!
I just hope that Nullsoft continues to update his plugins with ALL the features of them, otherwise I'll be really pissed off..

yeah, I've tried that player and even though it has great features, it'll never have the eyecandy (he even says so himself) and I want a decent mix of the both..
Winamp3 is very good, but there are some things really bad in it and Peter fixed most of them.
Now what?

Hopefully Nullsoft will still use, update and improve his components that are owned by AOL, but what about the rest?
What about the Wa2 input plugin support?

I'm not gonna switch to a player that has no visual stuff, no matter how good it is, which really makes me sad cos I really do believe that Foobar can beat the crap out of the competition functionality wise...

oh well, I just hope wa3 wont suffer from this too much..

Thanks for the compliment about the Poppler Replacement..
