MPEG Info

OK... I understand (kinda) how to read ID3 tags... but in Winamp, there's all this MPEG info in the file info box. How can I read that from a given file (I'm working with VB if that means anything).

Try either of these:

http://www.ewal.net/shazam.php
http://www.alfafish.com/afs/article.asp?id=3

They're both ActiveX components which VB can use to obtain the info you need.

I don't really understand what it is you're wanting to do exactly, unless sawg's reply helps you, could you maybe elaborate a bit?
