New winamp media library

I've noticed that the new winamp library has A TON of new bloatware that unlike in version before, it now does't have an option to take them off. I don't understand this; after several years of developing the best media player for the windows platform, has Nullsoft finally sold out? Some might be some nice features like the Shoutcast if your into internet radio, which i sometimes enjoy when my music bores me. But what if we don't want more items in the media library tree view? Nullsoft has terminated the elemental view of the media library. I am disappointed for the first time in all of winamp's history since Winamp 2.0 would run along perfectly with my version of Napster in 1999. Does anyone share my feelings as i see no posts about this?

Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Plug-ins > Media Library
Uninstall any ML component as you wish.

Or go to C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins and remove the relevant ml_*.dll files.

Note that you also have the option not to install specific ML components in the installer options.

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.
If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

I've noticed that each individual item in the media library is a plugin that can be removed manually uninstalled in the plugins tree view in the preferences.

still an annoyance though

You chose to install those plugins in the first place.
In future, don't blindly click through installer screens without reading them first.
That is even more annoying (to people who have to read threads like this) ;-)
