That's a bit harder

step 1 - download the appropriate DNAS from shoutcast.com
step 2 - uncompress it and read the documentation
step 3 - install it
step 4 - profit
"If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system"

So I did

yeah, it isn't in tar/gzip format, just tar format!!!

try tar -xvf i.e. remove the z from the command line

you asked HOW DO I EDIT IT, not WHAT DO I EDIT

HOW ... use an editor

WHAT? there's some interesting "documentation" in the "docs" directory

read it, any further help I'm likely to give will quote those documents anyway


or perhaps someone else on this forum can take over installing DNAS v2 for you step by step

well, I mean dnas 1.9.8 if I want to change port number I only enter: nano sc_serv.conf and I want to ask you which file name i have to enter with nano.
