Mono switch?

Hello, how can I switch winamp to mono sound?
I tried to download "Somewhat Mono" plugin at here but when I try to install, says "Couldn't open C:\[...]\Winamp\Plugins\dsp_bkmono.dll".

I saw other post where they said to go to Options > Preferences > Plugins > Input, select Nullsoft MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 audio decoder, click Configure, go to the Decoder tab & uncheck "Allow stereo output."

But there's no option 'Allow stereo output' on my winamp.
So, any idea?!

Thanks!!

Open the Winamp Preferences (keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+P) and select the "Playback" category on the left. Then select the "Playback" tab on the right. Enable the "Force mono" option in the group of "Audio" options on this tab.
