Well worth seeing. I've not read the book so I can't comment on how well it was adapted but I thought the screenplay was excellent.

I just watched domino. WTF is all I can say.

Now I'm watching Taxi. For the fourth time, good dumb movie.

I like in the beginning, they have a stunt bike rider, they say it's queen latifah, except the rider isn't... big.

yeah, i'm back.

Went and saw "The Omen" yesterday...

I always knew children were devilish, but I've been asserted now...

"I just want to lie in my own crusty filth, eating rancid egg sandwiches, until some unfortunate paramedic has to blow down my door to find my bloated and pasty corpse wedged between the nightstand and mattress stained with Bengay and Robitussin DM." - Greg Gutfeld on sex and seniors

Tokyo Drift. I thought the hood ornaments were quite a sight. A bit off key at times but on the whole not bad.
The best part: the end scene when Dominic Turano makes an appearance.

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

Old movie - look for it, it's hilarious and completely different from what you'd expect:

"The Gods Must Be Crazy" There's a sequal, but the first is the best.

"Cinderella Man"
I didn't know the history of this at all.
So I had no idea who James Braddock was or what the outcome would be.
Having said that, I thought this movie was excellent!
At the end, I had my sweating fists clinched hitting the arm of my easy chair.
If Spike (my cat) had jumped in my lap, I would have boxed him too.

Rating: 9/10 Spoiler: Minus half a point for not having more action from the kid. Minus half a point for not being long enough. Minus half a point for not having more bad-ass scenes like the rail gun moment. Expecially the pistol to the eye scene (note that the eye lashes didn't even flex, fuckin A). Plus half a point for leaving an opening for a second movie.

This weekend I watched two movies.

First was "The New World"

While I'm a hopeless romantic, I've never really gotten into romantic themed movies.
But this one was good!
It had a story that was different and interesting,
probably because it was based on a true story,
one that was a fascinating part of America's history.
The acting was great, as well as the scenery.
Not bad at all.

The second was "Firewall"

It's movies like this that justify my absence from movie theaters.
Just another Harrison Ford good guy gets bad guy movie.
The plot was so predictable and the ending had no suprise to it.
No real twists or turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.
Nothing new to see here.
