My first alcoholic beverage

Last night I finally had my first alcoholic beverage. It was a Smirnoff. I tried a few sips of a Margarita but didn't like it, too salty tasting. I only had one but I'll go for more next time I go to the bar.

Next on the list to buy: ear plugs(music was too loud) and Smirnoff(or something similar).

There is no sig.

lol Girl beer

I still love White Russians but I've been known to buy Smirnoff on many occasions. Girl beer is the only beer I'll drink.

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
I'll be waiting, and shall see you on the other side...

Hmmmm... lemme see...

My first alcoholic beverage was Cognac, and if I recall, it was a pretty stiff shot considering my age and all...

I was 2 months old at the time and very colicky, and Cognac was considered an old-time "remedy" for colic infants.

Ahhhhh... memories!!!

My friend actually got it and I just took a sip to taste it. When I found I liked it, I drank the rest of it.

Also, all the girls I saw there, none were drinking Smirnoff.

I take it you mean Smirnoff Ice (malt beverage) and not Smirnoff (Vodka). Renee likes Smirnoff Ice, but I tend to like drinks that are not sweet. Sweet drinks give me a hangover the next morning if I have more than two.

Smirnoff Ice then.

Vodka, by design, and unless flavored, tastes like nothing except alcohol.

I drank some watermelon flavored vodka. I'd rather just have it straight. Tasted like... well, like bad.

I don't remember my first drink. I know I had 16 of them and they were in little glasses. I was dating a girl who was much older and thought it would be a good birthday present to have 16 shot of whatever she happened to have in the cabinet.

I think the first time I had a drink was with my parents at a restaurant. It was either an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan. Why I bothered drinking after that experience is beyond me.

Bacardi 151 is ebil.

Hmm... my first alcoholic beverage was probably a wine cooler. First preferred was the Screwdriver (orange juice and vodka). Then I moved on to Long Island Iced Teas, then moved on to Cape Cods (cranberry juice and vodka).

I may have the odd Cape Cod or something similar, but, if I drink now, I stick to beer as I don't drink too much to get a hang over.

The Bacardi company is pure evil.

I never got a hangover from vodka (even after drinking a whole bottle). It has to be good one though (ie. no Smirnoff), and not mixed.

Generally prefer drinking beer and wine though.

I think mine was too many Woodpecker Ciders when i was 13. I got home, threw up and couldnt sleep because the room was spinning. I was actually surprised the room spinning thing was true.

Anyway, it wasn't really my proudest moment

Oh, never tried Stones Bitter, might see if i can find a can down this way

My first booze experince is probably something like Nunzios, I distincly remember my granny putting some whiskey onto a ball of cotton wool and telling me to hold it against my gum when I had a tooth ache as a kid...

Other than that the only one that sticks in my mind was going to a fireworks party when I was probably about 6 or 7, some dolt had forgot to get soft drinks for the kids so we just guzzled up as much of that 'great cherry red' drink as we could find, little knowing it was red wine.

The long taxi ride home was a blur, the room was quite litterally orbiting by the time I got back and then for good measure I chundered up the whole lot into the bathtub, red wine + chewed up burgers + assorted chewy sweets make a great lumpy red mess when hurled up, the bathtub (and most the surrounding bathroom) looked like one of those murder scenes you occasionally see after they remove the hacked up body.

I can barely remember anything from my childhood, but that is as fresh in my head now as it was then........

My first was probably some form of cheap Merlot or Chardonnay. It is common in my family to serve wine during holiday dinners, regardless of age. The amounts were limited to maybe a third of a glass for kids though .

JA JAAAA. Were talking alcohol!!! ja ja. I love that phrase "its always 5pm, somewhere..." jajaja. Well, for me its always one of three, Vodka... Whisky or BEER!! in those days you really need to drink, two of them will do. jaja.

The best Beer of all time: Gallo (search it), damm that thing is awesome!! ja ja, its from over here, Guatemala. maybe some of you had the luck to taste it.

about whisky there´s a lot to say, but some good ones are Jhonny Walker, Black label. Old Parr, Something Special and Chivas... uhhh, good ones. ja ja.

for vodka, anyone will do. it just depends on how you drink it...

just an advice... STAY AWAY FROM TEQUILA AND RUM!!! those things are poison! really... get too drunk with any of those things and you´ll realize the next morning... jajaja.

If I recall, my first alcoholic beverage was a Heineken at age 13 or 14. My parents let me drink several swallows of it, using the logic that if I learn about alcohol at home, then I won't have to "experiment" on my own someplace away from the safety of home.

And they were right - I never drank again until I was about 19, I never drank and drove, and I've never developed a drinking problem. Since age 22 I haven't been significantly drunk, and in fact several times in my life so far I've gone over a year without a drink. As of this moment, I haven't had a drink in over two years. All attributable of the education my parents imparted to me almost thirty years ago.

I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash.

Smirnoff Ice was my first and one of my favorites. It's alcoholic Sprite, and "girl beer" but tasty. And a good step to the hard drinker I am today! But if you aren't looking to get drunk and just want to relax, a Smirnoff of Mike's is good.

I think they call it a 'grasshopper' pretty much everywhere, except there usually isn't vodka in it, at least around here. (Just creme de menthe (mint liqueur), creme de cacao (chocolate liqueur) and cream, usually).

Next time you're drinking, try a mojito. They're really annoying to make correctly, but they're really good.
