Audio CD playback Winamp 5.7

winamp crashes (Unkillable process) reset required... when playing audio cd in occasion when winamps DAE is enabled. When disabled, everything is ok.

Plugins list needed - and exactly which beta you are running. (Build numbers make them different) Probably also need your OS and model of CD\DVD player.

I was playing a CD on a Win7 x64 Pc only the other day. I assume that DAE is Digital Audio Extraction? I can confirm that it was behaving for me on Pioneer DVD writers.

One of the PCs is an multiple old upgraded install. The other on a fresh PC with nothing else installed yet.

Kind of related - does ripping work for this drive with DAE on\off?

And did this used to play okay on older Winamp releases?


Usually something like this comes down to a dodgy plugin.
