My only wish: timeline for the actual song

Did you ever want to set the push button to a specified time at the actual song? I need it constantly, but there is no displayed time - only the overall duration.

So, i made a fast pic with Paint of what i had in mind, its not very well made, but see urself:

This are three examples of my suggestion for a displayed timeline, each song with its own timeline depending on its duration. With that i could easily set the push putton forward or backward on a time i want - without the need to estimate.

Maybe with the ability to switch colors.... ?

What do u think?

Hi Vortan,

When you click on the Seek Button and move it you should see the info you want appear in the top right hand corner, where the song length is shown.

Something like :

Seek 3.54/6.42 58%

Will this do ??

Yeah, i know that info next to the song length, but for me it isnt very clear. A timeline would provide a better (faster) view.

good idea, although the way I would do it is that when you hover the mouse over the line that represents the seek bar, just have a popup appear that says what point in time that is for the song.

might be complex though.
