Visualization Problems

So this is a new problem I've been having. It doesn't happen with all viz's, but it does with a lot of them. whether I play them in full screen of windowed mode, I'll get a set of lines that run horizontally across the visual. these lines look micro thin, and come and go super quickly. I"d love to show people what I"m talking about but they flash and go so quickly, I can't manage to get a screenshot. on the other hand, when your watching it, it is very noticable. I've tried changing from 16b to 32 but that doesn't help, and I've updated all my graphics drivers. now one of the WORST visuals is the El-vis Hubble02 one. when I first start it, it starts flashing in black and white (we talking seizure type alternating) with a TON of lines, then about a second later corrects itself to it's normal trippy colors. here is the picture of the black and white, but can't seem to time it right to get the lines.

Anybody have any ideas?

System specs please

Is it just happening in AVS visualizations? Which presets? Which ones appear to work fine.

UnConeD - Silk Strings
yathosho - SKOGSLOKA
DL - Life is Violated
Degnic - Retrowall
Degnic - Adrelin Rush

Tired of listing them now. =/ all the ones before splendora that I didn't list seem to work fine. as you can see, this is a fairly large problem with most of them. Mig's seemed to be a big problem amoung them.

Give us chance.

OK so there area fair few of them. There is probably a feature /effect that these scenes use that others do not that will help narrow down the problem to a specfic area.

Moving to the AVS forums where others will be able to help more no doubt.

Here's your solution: go to AVS -> AVS Editor -> Settings -> Display and under Windowed Settings enable Wait for Retrace.

Texer Resources

the hubble preset's loading is a buffer issue, nothing can solve it but go back to a previous avs version which won't happen as for the global problems, turn on wait for retrace as tugg also told, and also try enabling page flipping in fullscreen mode. these should help
