Shoutcast v2 does not receive Title Streaming (Caption Template) from SAM

Hi,

I'm using SAM Broadcaster and with ShoutCast DNAS v1 linux server when I would add text in the encoder next to $combine$
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6shs6w1oxa...coder.JPG?dl=0
it would get outputted to the server and displayed on the ShoutCast server as:
Artist Name - Song DJ ESCALADE

Now with ShoutCast DNAS v2 it does not display that text after $combine$ only artist name and song. Does anyone knows how to fix it? because I'm using it to display DJ name on the website html5 player.
I even tried using 2 x $combine$ but it was only displaying one time artist name and song
I'm using it with Centova Cast v3.2.2 control panel if it matters.

Thanks

You could do this far easier with RadioDJ as RDJ has a way to customise stream titles

AFAIK there is no way to customise a stream title in SAM without having to use a messy resource hogging PAL script.

Thanks for taking time to reply!

Unfortunately we have few DJs and changing to a different software would not be possible. We also have song request and some other stuff setup with SAM so we're kind of stuck with it but I definitely see your point.

I've setup Shoutcast v1 for the test and it works just like before but not with v2. There must be something why v2 is ignoring this simple text.

A more appropriate place to ask your question would be the SpacialAudio forums: http://support.spacialaudio.com/forums/

And outputting a custom stream title (within SAM) doesn't require a "messy, resource hogging PAL script." We've been running a custom PAL script to update titles (to SC v1) for years. My anti-virus software uses far more resources than SAM ever has.
