Unable to play steams with Winamp

For some reason I am not unable to play any steams with Winamp. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without any changes.

For example, if I try to open this URL https://www.broadcastify.com/scripts...6096443020.m3u to play the live feed of Dare County Fire & EMS it will not load.

I type CTRL + L, enter the URL, Click Open and absolutely nothing occurs visually with the client. It acts like it doesn't even attempt to open the feed.

This occurs with any feed I try to open. This used to work as I would have multiple Winamp clients open listening to multiple feeds... now nothing works.

Please help.

That URL doesn't work for me either. When I try to download the m3u to take a look at it I get Error 403: Forbidden.

So it looks like you have to be an authorised user. Do you have any other examples?

Your response got me thinking. I downloaded the .m3u file instead of copying the URL. I then opened the downloaded file with Winamp and it works that way. Weird. I used to be able to copy and paste.
