Hi, Is there anyway to calculate how many users can I support with determinate server procesor, RAM, and Internet Speed?

Is therew a formula or something like that? Lets say that I want to be able to support 1000 users at the same time what internet conection and kind of cluster or server would i need?

The formula is actually on the documentation that came with the server file:

14kb of memory per listener
If you want to broadcast to 100 listeners at 24kbps, you'll need about 24kbps*100 = 2400kbps = 2.4Mbps of bandwidth.

But 24kbps would be radio, I think TV(Video) not that bad quality is around 100Kbs. would it be the same formula but with 100Kbs?

Can anyone confirm the quality for video?

And what about RAM or processor?

Thanks for the reply, looking forward to find a more accurate answer

There is no default figure for processor as it depends on what processor you have and how you have set up your encoder,

As mentioned above 14kb of memory per listener/viewer

& the rule of thumb is upstream / bitrate = max users
