Someone tried to log into my server

I had a message the other day on my log that someone tried to log into my server while I was streaming. I never gave info to anyone. I'm the only one who runs my stream. They didn't have the right password, so it didn't let them in to take over. Has this happened to anyone else, and is there a way to prevent it from happening again?

netcrawlers, port scanners and other things that search the internet all the time,

setup a server without anything streaming to it and within hours the first will appear, nothing to be worried about if your firewall, virusscanners etc are configured right.

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Nope, it's not a radiostation just a non stop darkwave music stream
