I liked that metalic 'theme' thing more than the origional one with boom, except for the buttons and the knob you have on it.. Not that my opinion matters though. It's kinda cool that you and Will are still breathing life into this, good job on that.

sbsm: why the sarcasm?

Adil: I liked the new metallic skin, but the knobs and buttons might need restyling..
just my opinion though, but the rest looked really good..

edit: no, I didn't mean the pic in this thread, I meant the other one I got a link to..

I guess the only thing that will won't be able to achieve any time soon is the themes selection screen.

i really think you should!!!! on the new look stuff cos i haven't been using BooM for quite sometime... and now it looks totally oldfashioned... good luck!!!

thats winamp not boom

will.. would it be posible to give a preview under the sliders of what the FDTA colour will be??

and when clicking on the "otions, booms, about and manual" could u get it to open in the 1 window instead of opening different windows? would be a lot less cluttered then on the screen...

Bizzy D., it may be Winamp, not Boom, but there's a simple workaround that a lot of skins use. Just define a Playlist Editor in your XML, that's how it works in my skins.

When dragging the seek thing, if the text is scrolled over, you can't read the "seek to" text.
My solution to this was to not use the song ticker, but an empty ticker in the same position. When seeking, hide the normal song ticker and show the seek ticker so that it is not effected by the scrolling.

I like Bizzy's idea about combining some of the extra windows.
