Ocrana changes font colors (independent of color theme).

I think it's done by including several fonts and then change the xml parameter to a font of a different color. I'm not sure about that however, I didn't look for it in the code.

Thank you HH!

Yes, I got your email, I just hope I was of some assistance in helping you understand some maki. As soon as I have a free moment, I will put together a couple small sample scripts to better illustate some of the points I was making.

Sure, I'll give it a test! My free time is less and less these days so I will only be able to offer advice, maybe small bits of code. But I'm pretty good at finding bugs!

Question

great skin
I just have a question: does it have a shademode (or stick mode) or do you plan to make one later?
It's maybe said somewhere but I just dont want to read 5 pages...

(I like shade modes héhé)

like M. Burns says: Exxxxxcelent!!
that'll be cool, something you can hide on the top of your screen if possible
anyway, just the normal mode is a good reason enough to download this skin!

I got some new PSDs from razmansix, including the complete normal mode with EQ and configuration mode, and the complete mini mode. Time to get coding...

ok rob!

My computer room has been a mess for quite some time now - so I've done some major reorganizing and cleanup the last few days - replaced my old crappy mini PC-table with a nice big computer desk oohh..it's nice to get comfy again

I finally started on the stick/shade mode last night. It's not finished yet and will probably look a bit diff when finished - I'll just show it just to post a pic again.

Hell yeah! That is looking HOT!

I really like what you have so far, but I see you have a bunch more to fit on there. IMO, designing the stick mode is definitely the most challenging, trying to keep in theme with larger modes and working within a limited space can be difficult. It's the mode people will use most, so it's top priority has to be it's functionality.

Something to keep in mind while your work on this mode, it would be good to have easy access to the thinger and equalizer, either through a drawer or buttons that pull up stand-alone versions.

I agree rpc - this mode is important so I'll try different stuff probably with small drawers or something.

pure sweetness, are you going include the volume and seek sliders on the stick mode? Maybe you can work them in above the metal on which the control buttons sit.

Nice Job

I know I'm joining the fray late on this one, but man thats a nice looking skin. RPC is very much correct in stating the stick is the most important mode. Long and very thin is the way to go. And with RPC coding, you are free to let your imagination do just about anything . BTW I'm very jealous of your Photoshop skills.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Robouk, I insist that you remove that "beginner" junk from your signature this instant!

raz and I have decided to add more goodies to the round mini mode! As it is now it lacks a lot of the functionality of the other modes, so he's going to work up some graphics while I catch up on coding the main mode.

The stick looks good, but I think I'd rather have the song title off to the left, and the c-bottns up on the green part. That way you can get rid of the silver underneath and make it not as big vertically. Esp. since the buttons stick out the bottom. Too me, thats kinda weird looking.

Talking

the stick mode is really good looking
but thats true, it's a little too big in my opinion, but that could be justified by adding some functionnalities buttons(shuffle, repeat, etc.) and if you could add a button for a pop-up playlist, instead of a minimizable playlist, because in that case, like in "echo" skin, the title is showed two times, which is useless I think.
and like rpeterclark says, stick/shade mode is what people use the most, and creator sometimes forget this (sometimes) (echo héhé )
other than that, well... there's so much useful and unusual stuff you can add to a skin, like mmd3 or non step, cause this can be honestly one off the best winamp3 skins, that's is worth the time
so keep up godd work, I can't wait to have this thing on my computer!!!

echo skin:
http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.j...onentId=123507
I think this is a great skin because of it's functinnality.
unfortunatly, the design is boring after a time, and the title is showed 2 times. but there's the minimizable playlist (I like it a lot, very useful) and this is a small skin ,you can hide on the top of the screen.
I tell about this skin because I would want something like this style but with more functionnality (echo have only basic stuff, no cool viz, transparency etc.) with better design.
I think blinx can do the job

Oh, I woudn't mind being a beta tester! I'm crap at coding.. but I'm not too shabby at visual design. I could point out graphical bugs etc. This skin looks very cool. I LOVE how it's so, heavy-duty looking and dangerous looking!
