Buh Bye

I'll be leaving these forums in a week or two and I guess I wont be back. Now this has got nothing to do with the the fact that the forums are currently being inhabited by moronic ******* ( skinlove being the exception ). The reason I'm leaving is that I've been chosen as one of the students to help film a documentary in rural India. Unfortunatley I'm told that rural India is more or less devoid of internet access. The documentary is going to take a year to shoot and I guess I won't be coming back to the forums after the year cos I'll have an academic year to make up for.
This is bye then. It's been fun. You people have been great. I will miss all (yes every one of you). .

P.S :I will finish my wa3 skin though (I'm taking my laptop with me), and I'll try to drop in if I find a cybercafe.

P.P.S : Im going to hand #skinlove over to either bh or rean. You two can decide yourselves.

geeeze, that's a heck of a goodbye thread , it's up there as probably ones of the best one yet, far more worthwhile than the usual cry baby "i'm off" threads we see around here, good on ya mate

Have a tip top "experience" and don't forget your buddies around here, we wanna see the results, see the pictures and hear the stories

According to the CIA, there are 43 ISP's in India, with an average of 5 million users so it's not a total loss

Some light reading before you go

/edit
Hmmm, just learnt something myself from looking at that page, the local Military Barracks in my hometown takes it's name from a region in India, Imphal, and the various military conflicts that took place there, hmmm, you learn something new every day....

To clarify a few things : I do live in India and I am an Indian (IIRC a fact that only bh and Atmo knew till now). I live in urban India - Chennai (Madras). It's just that I havent been to rural India.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to rural India to film a documentary and not for any *******eutical stuff.
Two of my friends have been chosen too. The team consists mostly of students have photography as part of their curriculum. The rest of the team are experts though.
I do hope I enjoy the trip cos I hear all horrible stuff about rural India.

I hear all attempts to bring internet to rural India have been severely hampered by rats eating through the copper wires strung out there. The horror!

Have a great time. Don't forget to pack:

Have a good time, dam. Sounds like this will be one of those life altering (note I didn't say mind altering!) experiences. Travel tends to do that. I suppose that's why I enjoy it.) Anyway, try to drop into the forums once in awhile.

And perhaps by the time you return, the wa2 collab skin will be finished!

Not stopping at Goa on the way then?

Apart from the basic conditions and the man-mauling monkeys, I've heard some very cool things about rural India.

Close. I'm not a muslim (terrorist ). Whatever gave you that idea? AFAIK I don't resemble a muslim in any way. Officialy I'm a Hindu, but I dont really believe in religion. Actually dbjela I'm a decent speller. I'm just a bad typist(honestly) and a very lazy person. I am bad with names though.

marc : Why do you wanna pay $50 for bh???????

A lot of people thought I was an American. I wonder why? Am I that dumb? j/k
