I've always found regcleaner by Jouni Vuorio to be most excellent, think it stopped being freeware years ago, I do however have an old installer of the freeware version, still use this on most of my machines....

Hey, Jones! Does that have to be run by someone who knows what they are doing, or is it a cleaner for idiots(*puts Cape away*)

Yeah ... I like CrapCleaner too Widdy. You can run it from the Recycle Bin context menu which is very handy, use it more as a quick way of clearing the internet cache than as a registry cleaner up.

TuneUp 2007 is good as well(if you can find a free version floating around somewhere) it has a 'One click maintenance' option and/or can be scheduled to tidy things up every so often.

You heard it here first, folks.

As far as registry cleaners go, I use tune up utilities.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.
