CRC Checking?

Hello!

What does CRC Checking do in Winamp v5.56's MPEG Audio Decoder settings (Misc Options)? I couldn't find detailed information about it.

Thank you in advance.

CRC = cyclic redundancy checker. Is sort of a code or checking mechanism designed check for alterations in the MP3 file from the original encoding or something like that. It is not related to the quality or the compression setting of the MP3.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.
