Setting up a SHOUTcast server

Im having trouble getting started with shoutcast. Ive downloaded the server, toyed with the ini file, and read thru the online guide about 15 times. Can someone experienced help me? I just recently got an ADSL line that upstreams at 384Kbps... Any help would be very appreciated
