I took the liberty to set up Bulletproof again for all you fine forumites

This is my home computer, so don't be surprised if it goes down sooner or later.

Also, be prepare for the all too common slow download. If you hit it at the right time it's fast, but you never know...

I'm pretty sure that none of the albums are at or over 192, but I can't be sure about the Singles, because I get most of them from Morpheus & Gnucleus.

Cool ftp, if I could ever connect to it. MS really needs to improve IE's ftp support. You try and connect to an ftp server that isn't responding, it freezes IE. I know I could use a real ftp client, but I'm too lazy to go start up cute ftp just to see what's on an ftp server.

Ryosas - buy some q-tips. 128 is generally mediocre at best (although I've found certain ones to be OK). Now 320... THAT would be overkill. 256 is pushin' it.

Hmm, I was able to get to it fine the first time with IE. I am currently dl some songs with FlashFXP, and now, I can't get through without a password. I tried worm, and anonymously, but, no go.

Nonsense ... how could a bit-rate that admits as much loss as 128 be called CD quality. It doesn't take an educated ear to hear the difference. 192 is barely acceptable and only for old (because of the technology used to record the music often higher bit-rates are wasted on some older tracks) or hard-to-find albums. I encode to mp3 with an ABR of 224 and to Liquid Audio (prefered) in forced dual-mono and it's still not "cd-quality" ... it's close enough though.

Tis true. There are harmonics present in vinyl recordings that aren't present in digital ones. Gives it that warmer sound. The unfortunate thing with vinyl is that you only get one perfect listen and then it starts to wear away.

it came up with a password entry thing, with the username leech, and the anonymous login checkbox thingie didnt want to work. So I had to guess the password, which I got on my 3rd try I think, and.. yeah.
