Annoying error - Nullsoft waveOut plug-in v2.3
i keep getting an error when opening a track from explorer while one is already playing...
Nullsoft waveOut plug-in v2.3 "Error closing sound device." OK the message looks like this, and to get the track to play i have to click OK anyone know a way of stopping this?? |

This error is caused by bad soundcard drivers.
Try updating the drivers from the manufacturer's website. Other things to try: Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Plugins -> Output -> WaveOut -> config Change "Output Device" to your soundcard driver. Alternatively, switch to DirectSound Output instead of WaveOut: Prefs -> Plugins -> Output -> select (hi-lite) DirectSound Output If the problem persists, please include relevant system specs: PC Manufacturer, CPU, Soundcard, Windows OS, DirectX version Also include some Winamp details, eg. version #, a list of any 3rd-party plugins you may have installed, plus what file types you're playing at the time (eg. mp3, wav, midi, wma, cda, etc) |

you wouldn't happen to know why my sound goes all grimy and lo-fi when i'm playing games (worms armageddon/quake etc.)?? |
