resume any track to last played position

Ok so there are TONS of thread on this and none are helpful and i did look.

So here is what i desperately need: the same wonderful function as the zoomplayer function called "automatically restore last media position on replay"

i have tried
resumer
amarok
time restore

none of them work the way i want.

so basically this is what i would love your help in finding.

i click on a track, any track, it plays to a position and i
-press stop
-simply close winamp altogether
-play another file

and then when i play that file again it resumes from that position.

PS: i use the latest version of winamp PRO on a hp running 7 ultimate.
