Problem with Bento skin

Hello.
Since I've been using it for years on my previous computer, I installed winamp on a brand new one today to keep up using a great software. But when I chose Bento as a skin, it crashed and I got the following message:
"expression: out != OPEN_FAILED File: ..\Wasabi\api\font\win32\truetupefont_win32.cpp Line: 70"

Being no expert, I surmise there's something wrong with my font files, but I'm unable to get what precisely. Is anyone able to help?

Apparently it does exactly the same with Modern skin...

Which version of Winamp did you install? 5.666 (the latest stable version), 5.8 beta or some old version?

I used the 5.8 beta. Thanks to the link you provided for the last stable version it seems to work perfectly (though when I installed it, it told me my computer doesn't have a component from DirectX that Winamp requires, and advised me to go look for it on
http://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=35, which is strange since DirectX is up to date in my computer...)
