WinAmp Forcing Its Icon for Non-Associated File Types

I don't know if this qualifies as a bug so I am posting it here. It has happened the last few times I have updated to a new version of WinAmp. What happens is that WinAmp forces its icon for file types that it can support, but for which I have another application associated. I am careful to make sure that WinAmp is not to take over any video formats during the install.

Example: I use Zoom Player for all video file formats, but after I update WinAmp, the WinAmp icon replaces Zoom Player's icon for all video file types. Reinstalling Zoom Player doesn't fix it, the only thing that works is to go into 'Windows Explorer-Folder Options-File Types' and manually change the icon for each file type.
