Observations with Winamp and Windows 7

So far, 5551 has problems after a rip or two under Windows 7. It seems to just freeze after inserting another disc, while reading. Under Vista, the ripping works just fine, over and over. I have no idea what to suggest to get this fixed, just wanted to throw it out there, in case some are using windows 7 atm.

After ripping (finished) I opened the cd-tray and get a strange flickering.

Windows 7 x64 build 7077
Winamp 5.552

I will test it with Windows XP x64 too.

I've had the same problem. Seems the media library/rip window jams up and gets stuck after only a handful of rips at the most.

Only thing I can suggest is to set the compatibility to Vista or XP

I have had some other programs that had flickering problems that I resolved by setting compatibility to XP.

I've got the same problem, running Windows 7 64bit RC (build 7100)

The CD Recorder screen flickers real bad and pretty much cannot burn disks.

I've tried the Windows XP computability mode however I get a script failure and the bento skin fails to load.

Here WinAmp 5.552 runs rather fine with Win7 RC (Build 7100).
Just two small issues which are related, I guess:
1. After a while the built-in vis gets really slow.
2. On starting a new title, winamp will take a few seconds until it refreshes the playlist.

Everything else seems to be fine.
