I watched "Big Fish" last night. it wasnt quite what i expected, but i did enjoy it. rate it? i would have to say seven out of ten. there were some disjointed scenes that were hard to follow, and some of the acting was a bit shallow. however, it starts with five, just because it was a Tim Burton film, and because it was all about fantasy.

Starring Al Pacino, Jaimie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and more. Directed by Oliver Stone. For whatever reason, this is my favorite football movie.

Alexander the Great with Richard Burton. 1960's sword and sandal. Classic.

Despite his dad being a drunk and his mom being a slut and having no pants, Alexander took over the known world in 400BC.

I think I would really like to see One Hour Photo.

Tonight Renee watched 6 Days 7 Nights and I caught most of it while I was re-imaging and reinstalling programs to a friend's laptop. The story was fine, but there were too many unlikely events to make it seem believable. The characters were empty handed in the middle of the wilderness, found a wrecked Japanese WWII plane (believable), but somehow were able to hacksaw it's pontoons off, without going back to their own wreck first (the movie has no explanation on how this was possible - not believable)... Many other scenes had this sort of thing, too many and too distracting. A few would have been fine, but this was too much. I should stick with documentaries and historical fiction. I'm too damn picky for regular fiction.

Really a great movie. It has been a while, since a movie produced a few shock moments for me

If you like a movie where you like getting weirded out. The suspense is killer. The end is not telegraphed. Saying anything more would be a spoiler. I bought it for lending. Great movies take you to a different place.

I almost said too much. Rent that puppy. You'll get that hair on the back of your neck feeling. More important, you'll care about the characters, but you won't be sure why.

If that didn't scare the crap out of you..... Thanks Koopa. Added to my rental queue because you thought it was cool. No kidding.

You better have a strong stomach for gore, but what would you expect from Wes Craven?

I have seen "Prince of Persia" recently. It is nice movie but i am not impressed with its story which was very common. But its sound effect, location and other visual effects are very amazing. Overall, it is watchable movie.

Well, the last movie I saw was the Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe and it is a beautiful story of an Archer in the army who fights against the Norman invaders and therefore, he becomes the legend Robin Hood. It is a movie of heroic outlaw.

Rachel Getting Married!http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/reviews/8550/50121

Not a girlie movie, unless you're dating a recovering junkie with a nightmare event in her past. Bill Irwin , Anne Hathaway(The recovering junkie Kym), Rosemarie de Witt,Tunde Adebimpe; Debra Winger . Directed artfully by Jonathan Demme. On Starz Encore.

@ Widdy - thanks for the support on getting too distracted by totally unbelievable series of events

@ RoH - I STILL haven't seen One Hour Photo, and it's pissing me off. Every time I have a chance, I forget that it's pretty much at the top of my list of movies yet to see.

Tonight I watched G.I. Joe with some friends. Wasn't really great, but didn't really suck either. For what it's worth, it did what it was designed to do.

http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/...906299997/1023 Public Enemies! Directed skillfully by Michael Mann.
Johnny Depp is terrific as Dillinger. Mann did great work in Thief, Heat and this movie. He does cops and robbers very well. On HBO.

^ I kinda like The MI Series. But since I refuse to give Tom Cruise my money, I'll catch it on HBO or Starz. But I bet it was fun.

again.

Because it's funny enough to see a second time, even for someone like me who finds fault in almost every movie I've seen. Good movie.

You were also correnct before the edit when you said it was meh.

Sixgun.

Poor acting, although good acting couldn't have saved it - the story really sucked too. Not worth the $1 rental, and especially not worth the time spent watching it.
