Movie -> TV... good or bad?

Some Movies like Superman, X-Men, etc.... have jumped to the small TV ( Smallville, Mutant X)...
What you think, are they as good as in the movies, or better?

Well, X-Men started off originally as an animated series on tv, and it was great.

However, those live action spin-offs of movies are really annoying.

Mutant X is not based on X-men. Mutant X is the worst show ever! (imo) Who would have mutant people so increadibly boring. And X-men and superman both started off in Comic Books, not TV.

Mutant X - sux (and just have the x in the name so seems like they are trying to rip of X-men)
Smallville - worth watching if nothing better is on
Tarzan - thank god it was cancelled
X-men (original cartoon) - Tis pretty good
X-men evolution (new cartoon) - Tis ok, but doesnt follow the stories very well from the comic books
Batman cartoons - They are all ok

I don't think the spin offs are any good. However ratings and other factors have shown they are pretty successful. Wait 2 years or less from now, these will be old news, just like uhh reality TV game shows, (The Weakest Link, Who Wants to be a millionaire)

They are good as in the movies. And it is a good idea also. The people who can not afford to watch movies can entertain themselves by watching the tv shows of these super heroes.

Well sometimes they are worst and sometimes they are better. Like if you see smallville then i must say i love this show more than the movie itself. But yeah i am bit dissapointed with Batman series.
