New Premade Scripts

i've just made two new premade scripts i wanted to publish them. One is a custom visalization that works on the alpha value. The other minimizes winamp after an amount of time (that can be set be the skinner ) the user does not move his mouse.

The mimimizing idea sound interesting.. I'm not sure if it's practical (if I am doing other work, I'll surely move the mouse, if I'm just listening to music I'll turn eiteher avs on or the monitor off )
But as I said.. interesting

The skin love webring

about moving the mouse: it will minimize after the amount of time set even if you move the mouse but winamp should not be selected (you should be using a different program). Atleast thats what i wanted it to do.

These are great ideas!! I will test em in a skin I am working on. Thanks! Please make more! How about scripts that change the song name ticker. rotate, angled or mirror using FX commands in Maki.

the fx won't work on the songticker. I'll have to convert the text into diffrent layers for each letter. the using basic trignomitory i'll control x an y co-ordinates and rotate the text. i can have options to rotate the whole text or only the letters seperately. should be done soon.

actually there is a workaround doing FX on the songticker (or the bar vis or any other guiobjects). you can place a transparent layer on top of the songticker, do the fx on the invisible layer and include layer.setBgFx(1); on init.

setBgFx(1) will apply the FX on the objects below that layer.

ah, found that bug out. the layer must have an image tag but set the alpha to zero. then it works but i dun like this script because it isnt really useful. no offence dude but anyway, you can use it in other relations.

i did a similar thing a while ago but found it wasnt too useful as it ate cpu power which is the main thing here.

you could have a menu with loads of effect options for example which could be useful for many skins, its a good idea to give more options for effects, some may use them, some not

also have a play with the values as you can also put in the vu levels for some of the values to create many type of illusions that also play with the beat of the music
see one of the visses in my abducted skin for an example
