Hi everyone

It's been a while.

I was bored today and figured I would swing by. I see some familiar faces still hanging aorund.

Well, keep it real.

I've been alright. Haven't done any skinning for quite some time. I'm planning to make a new skin to match my current windows theme shortly. Maybe I'll showcase it here.

How has everyone been?

Hey chad

It certainly has been a while. Lots of new people around here; there's also a skin contest that's about to finish around here (there's a thread for it somewhere).

Hi Out There...

Well... as I can see it looks like all the people in here knows each other (since some years maybe) and I also read in StillWater's reply "new people" so I decided to post something..
¿Am I one of the NEW PEOPLE in here? I think so...and so I post this just to make some friends in here you know...I'm a newbie in skinning (only 17 years old :P but I got the spirit) and just wanted to join this (international) Community...hope not to be silly
BTW for everyone who didn't notice...I'm from Argentina and my main languaje is Spanish (so please escuse my TERRIBLE grammar mistakes)
see ya soon...

Way before I joined this forum. I have been making/looking at winamp skins since around 2000. I found your profile on 1001winampskins.com, and your System of a Down skin is cool. Nice to see you here.

If you need your banana again, I saved it this time so I wouldn't have to go looking for it.

Man. a lot of old faces (well, avatars changed, names stayed) here! Reminds me of when I first started skinning, and was actually active here, with the exception of skinme/caz...

The last banana avatar I remember had a jumping banana, not an unpeeling one. Sure that's the right avatar, flatmatt?

The way I define it, a sabbatical is where you take a break from a stressful, hell-like situation ... for instance, a job... and relax. Wheras a satanical is where you leave one hell for another.

Lately I've been using my usually-skinning time for stuff like this:

and this:
Watermelon Gamecube
And other random crap like that.
Speaking of randome crap, Xenosomething, is there any chance you still have the Zelda64 PSD's? I've switched computers twice since then, so I no longer have them handy. It'd save me the trouble of restarting from scratch, but it's not a big deal.

its not on my computer...but i remember seeing it on my mp3 player a while back(not sure if i deleted it or left it alone)

either way, the battery on it died and a replacement costs about 40 bucks....and even though i have my own psd's stuck on it too, it doesnt seem important enough to spend that much money on it now, sorry.

i'd be more then happy to help you out with the skin from scratch again if you want....need something to keep me busy anyway

.........?.

I might, I'm still experimenting with photoshop and trying to decide on a game to skin. I really like the idea of a paper mario skin, but none of my attemts have been encouraging. I think I would like to try the Zelda 64 skin again. I'll start putting together the background images for the layout, if you could throw together the cbuttons and eq/pl/monoster icons somewhat like you had them before, that would be awesome I'll start a new thread for it...
