Shoutcast Planner Assistance

Hi,

I have read through the entire planner guide and for the life of me I can't get a simple Podcast I created to play using the planner. I simply want it to play at either a set time everyday or repeat all day. I do not want anything else to play throughout the day. Can someone explain in simple terms how I can play a recorded podcast at 10 am on my site?

Ex: Do I need a clock or can I just use a Day Template? etc. Every time I go to generate the planner, the pool comes back with an error.

I am very frustrated trying to get it to work. If there is a better solution or better hosting software to use, please advise.

How many minutes is that podcast?

Whatever the type of music or sound item that you import into the Planner,
the format supported is .MP3 – from 128 to 320 kbps – 44,100 Hz - Stereo.
ID3 tags are supported.

The maximum duration of a track is limited to 15 minutes.

I had it broken out in separate files that were under 15 minutes. It still didn't work. I just created one long file that is 68 minutes long and probably won't work. No matter what I did, the planner would not register. I guess I have to give up. Nothing was working with the planner. Not even a simple 3 song playlist with various artists. The planner is not very user friendly.

First you make a clock, then you make a playlist (24 hours) and then generate a planning for each day.

I guess where I struggle is this....if I have a clock with 24 hours and my playlist is only 1 hour per day, how do you get the other 23 hours to just go buy with nothing? Or, do we have to run that playlist 24 hours a day?

Yes the playlist must be 24 hours long.

I make a mistake, instead of a playlist I mean a day template.
