Hiya, I'm actually using DrO's variety since I only use this with the (classic skin) playlist in windowshade mode. It's an awesome idea, thanks very much! I was looking for a way to scroll the song so I can see long titles, and this is a great alternative solution.

The only issue is, it only works when Winamp is active. Two clicks (one to activate Winamp, one to go back to what I was doing) doesn't seem like much, but it is surprisingly annoying to do something as simple as see a song title -- especially if I forget the second click and scrollwheel my way to another song! Could it be possible for TipTop to work even when Winamp is inactive, perhaps using some other Windows messages?

(sorry for double post, it's too late to edit the previous one)

Another thing, a slight irritation with TipTop is that the tooltip flickers at (0,0) about half the time that it gets shown or hidden. Not a problem, but if it's a simple fix (e.g. moving the "scratch" location offscreen or something) then it would be nice.

it should be feasible to make it work to show when it enters the winamp area irrespective of the focus of the window (main reason i did it as a click to show option was it'd have annoyed more if i hadn't i think).

the flickering thing is something that has bugged me as well though i think most of the plugin needs to be re-coded to work in a cleaner manner since the actual code implementing the tooltip display isn't nice at all such as with the (0,0) quirk.

no idea when i'll get around to fixing/working on it as work is taking all my time at the moment but shall log this in my requests/todo list

Thanks for considering my requests... I've developed plugins myself (for Trillian, not Winamp) so I understand the time issue.

i had wondered if you were the same quietbritishjim i've seen over on the trillian forums when trying to sort out some issues i'd been having with the program a while back.
