So who has the new Radiohead album?

I'm talking about In Rainbows, the album that you get to choose how much you want to pay for it.

Like the 62% of the people who got the album, I decided to pay nothing for it, and if I like it, I re-buy it later on.

So far I'm liking it. Kinda reminds me of Dark Side of the Moon, but with a little bit of a U2 sound to it.

My only gripe about the album, and the main thing that's holding me back from paying them for it, is that its only available as 160k MP3s. If they encoded it in VBR 2, or even better, FLAC, I would gladly give them the retail price of £8...

I too decided to pay nothing for it at first, but after listening to it a few times I decided to go back and pay £5.00 for it. However I've since begun to regret that since the album just isn't at all memorable for me.

I've bought copies of OK Computer and Hail to the Thief on both CD and vinyl, so I don't mind supporting them. But I too wish this had been encoded flawlessly, or at least be given an option like Saul Williams' album. I downloaded that for free at first too, but I really this album and have since gone back and paid the five dollars for it and got it in FLAC the second time around.

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
I'll be waiting, and shall see you on the other side...

I've had it since it came out too. It's a good album, I don't know if it's their best one though. Reckoner is incredible, though.
