2 new skins.

One of them I showed a screenshot of on an earlier thread. That was the remix of the skinme! skin. That's now completed and submitted into the olympics, and you can get it here:
http://guiolympics.com/skins2004.asp?skinid=264

The other is called Plastyk, and I think I like it the most of all my skins. You can get it here:
http://guiolympics.com/skins2004.asp?skinid=266

Hope you like 'em

Saw em both at GUIO. I like Skinwater better cause it's different. Plastyk looks really good, but it's kinda like other skins I've seen before

You thought I was dead, didn't you?

Good solid work all round. Best of luck for the contest

What's with the cursor set on Skinwater? That vertical bar on the right seems out of place .... is that a bug?

/wait, I get it now, it IS buggy...the left side of the pointer is cut off, and actually appears on the far right of the 32x cursor area... maybe they are saved in the wrong dimensions?

Thanks ripe

About the cursors: hmm, I just saved them the normal way I usually do in MicroAngelo.

I don't get the bug at all - the cursors work fine for me . Does it happen on every one of the cursros, ripe? Does anyone else get the bug?

i really like the skinme! classic skin. if you've stopped by in winamp unlimited, you'd see i've been promoting your skins a bit, lately.

i'm even going to be using this skin (skinme! remix) in my screenshot for today's article.

edit: can't reproduce the bug on 5.03a, xp pro

yes

I'm running on Win2K. Tested the skin on wa5.03, wa2.9, wa2.81, the cursors always came out the same.

SnagIt 6 (which usually works fine) had trouble capturing the cursors; I had to slightly edit the attached picture to correct it.

Plastyk is my new favorite skin, awesome job on that. I like the other one, but the white border around the edge would look better transparent in my opinion. White just doesnt go well with my background.

I've just made a port of Plastyk for kewlpÄd

KewlpÄd is a skinnable notepad, so it's about time you ditched your boring Windows one and downloaded it. Then, download my skin for it.

Btw, thanks HaloHQ. That's a big compliment

Dude, sweet work when the contest is over would u be willing to give me permission to remix plastyk and publish it at 1k1?

i have an amazing idea and if i have something this nice to start with it will save alot of time (which means i might actually finish something not in my inspire series!)

Sure. Go for it. I'd love to see a remix of it.

Of course, give me credit for the original skin, a link to the original in the readme would be nice, bla bla bla....

I look forward to seeing it

If you want, I can give you the .PSD files (though if you do, beware, they are pretty chaotic )

I'd like to thank Stillwater, and my mom and my pop, and my girl for keeping me going, and God for putting me on this earth.... Ok. Enough. inthegray: I read your RSS btw and I love your site redesign... trendah!

Both "Plastyk" and "Skinwater!" (the skinme! remix), as well as the Calvin and Hobbes skin are now published at 1k1ws, DA, and here (access them all through the links in my sig). They all have had (very minor) updates made on them since the GUI versions that I linked to above.

And it was a nice surprise today to see that "Plastyk" was featured! Thanks heaps to whoever was responsible for that

Well put together but a little too simple, I want more details. Then it would be terrifyk.
i agree with that review completely......

the skin has all those little nuances that i like in my skins, but it still is fairly simple....

....and i know krynis already asked you for it...but do you mind if i have a copy of the the psd too? i dont wanna do much....just some minor adjustments for my own use.

.........?.

I totally understand it, but don't totally agree with it. The background certainly could have some detail, but I would never put much more detail into the skin than is already there. I can't stand using skins that have a too much detail on non-component areas, and I wanted to create a really usable skin with near-base-skin functionality for once. Though yeah, I have to say that some more detail could certainly have been added without sacrificing much on functionality

I've emailed the PSDs to you
