looking for opinions/recommendations on royalties/private server

Ok, I'm a newbie DJ at an existing internet station circa 2001. Having a great time, so I set me up a local server with Winamp/Shoutcast plugins. Works great, have appx 5 gbits upstream, so can support a vary modest listener base, but would be fine to start out and see how it goes, right?

I want to be 100% legal so want to pay the royalties, but with a home server is that really efficient time wise to keep up with artist, and listener count? I just don't think I could keep up with it at this time.

I see the provider loudcity, and for the cost they will provide a stream server plus pay the royalties, sounds sweet, but they have a note "not accepting any new hobby accounts" or something to that effect... Its kinda confusing at this point.

Does anyone in the forum have other recommendations for server provider, royalty payments, some automated system?

Thanks with all these variables, the search is pretty much useless...

LoudCity is pretty much at capacity (full on Hobby Accounts, accepting SMALL Pro stations)

Loudcaster is a good replacement for the LoudCity Hobby plans (Streaming servers, AutoDJ backup service and royalties included)

We provide royalty reports with all SHOUTcast accounts, however it's up to you to pay the fees.
