Try commenting out the "inheritconfig" option in the Transcoder configuration file. Apparently it's still causing little problems. I copied and pasted your configuration lines into test configuration files on my computer and it did the same thing as you. After commenting out "inheritconfig" it started working properly.

I've never seen that error message before. I can only guess as to what's causing it. Try restarting your computer. If you can't then open the task manager and end all sc_serv and sc_trans processes. Then try again.
Also, your playlist is not found. |

if the DNAS is returning 'stream in use', then i would first make sure that there is nothing else running / connected to the DNAS (do that via the DNAS admin pages). since that message can occur if the stream is already active or if the DNAS was not able to create the stream due to other unrelated errors in the communication of the
otherwise, it appears everything else is fine ignoring the fact you haven't got an active playlist but something is present either via a DJ or playlist event if sc_trans is able to connect to sc_serv (and the inheritconfig issue is due to how the serverip option is or rather isn't handled). -daz |

If I'm understanding what the "Virtual Dj" program is doing, you have 2 options here. You can either drop the Transcoder and just use the Virtual Dj program to connect to the DNAS directly or you can add a DJ and DJ port to the Transcoder to connect the Virtual Dj program to instead.

If you want to use the Transcoder with the Virtual Dj program then you would need to connect the Virtual Dj program to the DJ port of the Transcoder instead of connecting the Virtual Dj program directly to the DNAS, but you'll need to set up at least one DJ and a DJ port in the Transcoder configuration files to do it.

the DNAS server needs to be running at all times you want the stream to be running / available.
did you get sc_trans connecting to sc_serv ok now? had thought i saw an edit saying it was working before i had to quickly go out before this followup reply. -daz |

if you have issues / questions then you should post and if someone knows / can help then they will do so (just it can sometimes take a while to get a response, especially over weekends).
