Windows 7 "Play all" adds each item numerous times
I have a directory of just 466 MP3 files, with Winamp set as the default player for MP3 files. Every time I click "Play all" from Windows Explorer, Winamp 5126 files in the playlist, so each item is added 11 times. Removing duplicates correctly tuncates the list to just 466 items. This occurs whether or not Winamp is already running, and even if shuffling or repeat are on or off.
Hilighting all files and choosing "Play all" yeilds the same result. Through testing this, I have noticed that the larger list growing. It is now up to 5592 items, each time I play the entire directory. This does not happen for shorter lists of files to play. So is this a bug or is there something I can change to fixed this? So far I have tried going to %APPDATA%\Winamp and deleting all playlist files here, to no avail. |

Update:
Whether the list is going to be 5126 items or 5592 items seems to be random, which rules out the possiblity of it being some chaching issue which I orginally suspected. Can anyone else confirm this, so we can have it added to the list of bugs? Running on 32bit Window 7. |

you've probably got additional playlists or maybe even a shortcut link back to itself which could lead to more files being found than really are there (as the action you're using will parse any playlist and shortcut links as well as the other known file types to find media to add to the playlist).

I've already considered this, and it is not the case. It is a folder with nothing but mp3's. Verified this by sorting the folder by types.

Is this folder a Windows 7 library-folder or is it a regular folder?
