Winamp disables Windows 7 transparency

This is a rare occurrence and although it has happened several times, I can't replicate it. Winamp seems to disable the transparency of the windows, start menu, etc in Windows 7. It seems to happen when winamp is being closed and restarted several times in a row. The most recent time this happened was when I was uninstalling unused plugins and winamp kept restarting itself after uninstalling each plugin. After about the 5th restart upon opening, it resized a window I had open and changed all the windows and start menu background to a solid color and disabled the transparency option in windows (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance). A computer restart fixes the problem.
