MP3TagTools with new Winamp 5.5 ID3 tag fields?

I've been using the open-source MP3TagTools mass-tagger for years now. I just haven't found anything else thats as fast, light and easy to use.

The app hasnt seen any major upgrades in like.. four years or so.. but it didn't matter; it tagged all Winamp supported ID3 tags. Until version 5.5, that is.

With 5.5, we have new default tags that I'd like to USE, namely Disc #, Album Artist (great for mix CDs), Composer, Publisher and BPM. Forget the BPM field, but I'd like to fill in all the other ones.

Does anyone know of any mass/batch tagging utility that handles the abovementioned ID3v2 fields for MP3s? Open-source would be lovely, freeware would be fine, shareware is avoidable...

I don't use the Winamp media library (somehow it doesn't agree with me) and I don't want/need to visit Gracenote, so the mass Auto-Tag feature is out...

Thanks in advance!

I use this MP3 Book Helper. If you take some time to learn how to do regular expressions you can do almost anything you want with the tags.

Oh, I'm good with regex. I use them all the time at work! Sounds interesting .. and it's open source! Yummy

Indeed :-)
The only thing I miss is a way to write custom vorbis tags. I could be blind tho so if you happen to find a way you would become my biggest idol!
