I watched a live feed last night on Kerry's nomination acceptance speech.

Got to say this I openly applauded the man. He came across as an honest open person willing to mend the harm that Bush the puppet has perpetuated. I must admit after seeing the 'jib jab' Heinz/Crayola advert (wonder how many spotted that?)that I was rather dubious of Mr. 'Three Purple Hearts' Kerry, so decided to do a little more reserch.
The political heavy weights, clinton, carter etc I believe were not needed ..if I was American, I'd have to go with him and not just because of my (obvious by now) dislike of the Criminal you now have in office (sorry, you can seal all the criminal D.U.I. records you like - he has been convicted twice of drunk driving).
Nope up to now Kerry is definately the better candidate..

Bush's return to his speech? the usual and much to be expected drivel...

I'm proud of being a liberal. And I hate that the right wing has demonized that word. To me being liberal means having an open mind, listening to all sides of an argument and basing my opinions on studied reasoning - not talking points. It means open to change as opposed to conservative, which all too often means keep things as they are, wear blinders at all times and stick your fingers in your ears and say, "lalalalallalalala" to avoid hearing any voice or opinion but your own.

There is no reason to not be proud of being called a liberal. Ignore the right wing bloviators like Hannity, Rush and O'Reily. They are hateful idiots who traffic in fear.
