XP SP2 Style Cracked DLL? Gimme!

Saw a link somewhere I think - anyone have it and tried it?

Default XP styles are fugly.

He is talking about the uxtheme.dll Cracked DLL which allows for alternative styles in Windows. Without this DLL, you wouldn't be able to skin your Windows shell.

So, how is that not allowed here?

Well, DuaneJeffers, due to the DMCA, linking to such a thing costs you up to 5 years in prison and up to a $150,000 fine, assuming it allows you to circumvent copyright protections somehow.

Not to mention that it's against the rules...

I don't exactly think that Microsoft has anything against that. After all, it's a feature many people love about XP, and a feature KDE and Gnome, among others, have.

Never screws up for me, whereas stylexp would randomly set my theme to classic.
